Procedures/Cosmetic surgery.
Facelift -
After years of exposure to the effects of gravity, the elements,
and the stresses of daily life, signs of aging in the form of
wrinkles, sagging skin, and laxity in the jowls can be seen in
the face and neck. A facelift, or rhytidectomy, can make you look
younger and fresher and enhance your body image and self-confidence.
Some people may need a mild lift to rejuvenate the face. In that
case a Mini face lift can improve on the face and refresh youthful
appearance with minimal down time
Breast Enlargement -
Also known as breast augmentation or augmentation mammoplasty,
breast enlargement can help women who are unhappy with the size
or shape of their breasts. For many women, breast size is an important
part of feeling good, desirable and normal. Having a breast augmentation
can greatly improve self esteem in these cases.
Breast Lift - As
women age their breasts gradually change shape. These changes
can be due to gravity, breast feeding and/or the transformation
of glandular tissue to more fatty tissue that occurs with aging.
A breast lift procedure will raise the nipple and breast tissue
to give a fuller more youthful look. Newer techniques can minimize
the scar resulting in more youthful breast enhancement.
Breast Reduction
- Also known as reduction mammoplasty, a breast reduction can
greatly relieve the lower back as well as shoulder pain associated
with large breasts. An added benefit is improved appearance of
the breast to a more youthful look, restoring self confidence
and better body image.
Breast Reconstruction
- Reconstruction of a breast that has been removed due to cancer
or other disease is one of the most rewarding surgical procedures
available today. New medical techniques and devices have made
it possible for surgeons to recreate a breast that can come close
in form and appearance to a natural breast. Planning the mastectomy
and reconstruction can also spare most of the normal breast skin
SKIN SPARING MASTECTOMY-
to minimize the scar and give a more natural reconstruction.
Tummy Tuck - A protuberant
abdomen can be due to excess fat, weak abdominal muscles, or excess
skin from large volume weight loss. A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty,
removes excess fat and skin while tightening the underlying muscles.
The surgery is particularly helpful to women who have had multiple
pregnancies and have stretched out their abdominal skin and muscles.
Liposuction - Also
known as suction lipectomy or lipoplasty, liposuction can help
sculpt the body by removing unwanted fat from specific areas that
are resistant to diet and exercise. These areas include the abdomen,
hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin, cheeks and neck
Nose Job - The size
and shape of your nose is considered by many to be the most defining
part of your face. A nose job, or rhinoplasty, can reduce or increase
the size of your nose, change the shape of the tip or bridge,
narrow the span of the nostrils, or change the angle between your
nose and your upper lip. Nose job achieves harmony of the facial
structures.
Eyelid Surgery -
Drooping eyelids and bags under the eyes can often give you an
older more tired appearance. Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty,
is a procedure that removes or redistributes excess fat from the
upper and lower eyelids. It can also be done to add an upper eyelid
crease to Asian eyes.
Brow lift - Wrinkles
and frown lines often first appear in the brow and forehead area.
The brow drops down crowding the upper lid area, A forehead lift,
brow lift, restores a more youthful, refreshed look to the area
around and above the eyes. The procedure corrects drooping brows
and improves the horizontal lines and furrows that can make a
person appear angry, sad or tired.
Laser Surgery -
In laser resurfacing, sometimes called "laser peel," a carbon
dioxide (CO2) laser is used to remove areas of damaged or wrinkled
skin, layer by layer. It also improves acne scars. It is the gold
standard for smoothing the skin and improving pigmentation problems
Facial Implants
- Plastic surgeons use facial implants to improve and enhance
facial contours. Frequently, these implants will help provide
a more harmonious balance to your face and features so that you
feel better about the way you look.
Gynecomastia - Gynecomastia
is a medical term that describes MALE breast enlargement. Though
this oddly named condition is rarely talked about, it's actually
quite common. Gynecomastia affects an estimated 40 to 60 percent
of men.
Botox® and Soft tissue
fillers - As we age, our faces begin to show the effects
of gravity, sun exposure and years of facial muscle movement,
such as smiling, chewing and squinting. The underlying tissues
that keep our skin looking youthful and plumped up begin to break
down, often leaving laugh lines, smile lines, crow's feet or facial
creases over the areas where this muscle movement occurs. Soft-tissue
fillers, most commonly injectable collagen or fat, can help fill
in these lines and creases, temporarily restoring a smoother,
more youthful-looking appearance. Newer fillers need no testing
and last longer. Botox® soften the lines by weakening the
muscle causing the crease or wrinkle.
