His extensive medical education includes a medical degree, MD, from Pahlavi University, Shiraz, Iran with postgraduate medical training in the United States. Fully trained General Surgeon at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Plastic surgery training was completed at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Ohio. After completion of his training Dr. Shureih has been in the private practice of plastic and cosmetic surgery in Baltimore, since 1983.
Dr. Shureih is a board certified plastic surgeon with certificate of advanced education in cosmetic surgery. His practice is Located in Baltimore, Maryland. He is well known and respected by his peers and patients. He also served as Chief of Medical Staff at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore for three years and has served as Chairman of the surgical policy committee at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore.
He is an active member of The American Society of plastic surgery, The American society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The American Bariatric Plastic Surgery, Lipoplasty Society and the John Staige Davis society of plastic surgery.
He is also an Instructor in Plastic Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
